An international nanny works to watch children for families abroad. You can work overseas in a variety of countries, and you also travel or go on vacations with the families for which you work. As a nanny, your responsibilities include providing for the child’s physical needs, setting behavioral guidelines, giving intellectual and social stimulation, housekeeping related to the children, providing care when the parents are not present, meal planning for the kids, and organizing outings and play activities. Your exact duties depend on the family who hires you. In some cases, you might also provide transportation for the children, cook for the family, run errands, and help with the children’s school activities.
