What You'll Do

The LVDC Design Community Manager serves as the primary ambassador for the Las Vegas Design Center (LVDC), building meaningful relationships throughout the regional design community while driving awareness, engagement, and participation across LVDC and Las Vegas Market.

This role combines relationship management, community outreach, social media marketing, event execution, and customer engagement to strengthen LVDC's position as the premier destination for interior designers throughout the Southwest. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, thrives on building connections, and enjoys creating memorable experiences that support both designers and exhibitors.

Community Engagement & Designer Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for interior designers engaging with LVDC.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with designers, design firms, industry associations, educational institutions, and emerging design professionals.
  • Develop outreach strategies that attract new designers while increasing engagement among existing community members.
  • Establish partnerships with local organizations, universities, and industry groups that expand LVDC's visibility and influence.
  • Represent LVDC at networking events, trade associations, design functions, and community events.
  • Provide concierge-style support by connecting designers with exhibitors, showrooms, products, and available resources.
  • Foster long-term relationships that encourage repeat visitation and participation in LVDC programming.

Social Media & Brand Marketing

  • Manage LVDC's social media channels and editorial content calendar.
  • Create engaging digital content highlighting showroom products, industry trends, events, exhibitors, and designer success stories.
  • Capture photography and video content during events, showroom activations, and campus experiences.
  • Partner with Marketing and exhibitors to develop integrated campaigns that increase awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor analytics and social media performance while recommending strategies that improve audience growth and engagement.
  • Ensure all communications align with ANDMORE and LVDC brand standards.

Events & Experience Management

  • Plan, promote, and execute designer-focused events, networking opportunities, educational seminars, and showroom experiences.
  • Develop marketing strategies that increase attendance and participation.
  • Coordinate invitations, registrations, attendee communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Support onsite event execution, guest experience, VIP hospitality, and exhibitor coordination.
  • Collaborate with exhibitors, sponsors, and partners to maximize event success.
  • Measure event performance through attendance, engagement, and post-event reporting.

Showroom & Market Engagement

  • Develop a strong understanding of LVDC showrooms, exhibitors, and product categories.
  • Connect designers with relevant resources, brands, and showroom partners.
  • Promote LVDC programs and showroom initiatives through targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Encourage participation in showroom events and year-round programming that supports exhibitor success.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Oversee receptionist and designer check-in operations while providing customer service support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate designer, firm, exhibitor, and industry contact information within CRM and marketing databases.
  • Expand and maintain designer outreach lists through proactive research and relationship development.
  • Track engagement activity, event participation, and community interactions to support reporting and future planning.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, Public Relations, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, community engagement, event planning, customer experience, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Passion for interior design, home furnishings, architecture, lifestyle brands, or related industries.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and developing engaging digital content.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/database platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media management platforms, or similar content creation tools.
  • Photography, videography, and content production experience.
  • Event planning or hospitality experience.
  • Existing relationships within the design community or home furnishings industry.
  • Experience working with designers, showrooms, or trade organizations.
