Logistics Support Specialist @ Bandon Dunes Golf Resort

Bandon, OR • On-site

Full-time

Medical, PTO

Posted 7 days ago

Job description

Position Summary:
When a guest realizes they've left something behind, or a request comes through the Logistics Service Desk that needs an answer, you're the first person they reach. As the Logistics Support Specialist, you'll manage Service Desk calls and Freshworks tickets, track them through to resolution, and personally handle Lost & Found from the moment an item turns up to the moment it's back in a guest's hands. It's a role built on follow-through - staying organized, communicating clearly, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course, Shorty's, opened in the Summer of 2024. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.
Beyond premier golf, guests delight in various dining options at Bandon Dunes' collection of restaurants. Whether you're looking to enjoy locally-sourced, Pacific-Northwest cuisine accompanied by an award-winning wine list or prefer kicking back in a Scottish-style setting with traditional pub fare and local microbrews, there is something for everyone.
Working at Bandon Dunes is a dream for golf fans, outdoor enthusiasts, and hospitality professionals alike. The Bandon Dunes team works together to create trips of a lifetime for our guests. We are passionate stewards of our resort, community, and environment. As an endlessly curious group, we ask questions, share ideas, and always look for a better way. With a hard-working attitude, we help guide our guests through their pure golf experience, immersed in Oregon's natural beauty and away from the demands of daily life.
What You'll Do:
  • Own Lost & Found from start to finish. You'll manage the entire BOUNTE workflow - picking up items from drop zones across the resort, logging and securing them, and communicating directly with guests to coordinate retrieval and returns.
  • Be the first voice guests and teams hear. You'll answer Logistics Service Desk calls, triage requests, and either resolve them on the spot or route them to the right person.
  • Keep Freshworks tickets moving. You'll monitor, respond to, assign, and escalate incoming tickets, following up with the right teams so requests don't stall.
  • Document everything, every time. Accurate records in BOUNTE and Freshworks keep requests, item status, and communications traceable for guests, supervisors, and teams alike.
  • Step in wherever Logistics needs support. You'll provide backup administrative coverage and pitch in on general warehouse tasks like putaway and picking during available downtime.
  • Follow the protocols that protect guests and the resort. Chain-of-custody standards, confidentiality, and safety practices guide everything you do.

What Makes You a Great Fit:
  • You have at least a year of customer service, administrative, or service desk experience. Hospitality, resort, or retail background is a plus, but not required.
  • You're comfortable learning new systems. Freshworks and BOUNTE will be new to most candidates - you don't need prior experience, just a willingness to pick them up.
  • You have a valid driver's license. You'll travel between buildings and designated pickup areas as part of the Lost & Found workflow.
  • You're detail-oriented and organized. You can accurately document requests, items, and conversations, and keep track of multiple things at once without losing the thread.
  • You communicate well and follow through. Guests, vendors, and Logistics team members alike can count on you for clear updates and reliable service.

A Few Things to Know:
  • This role includes routine movement throughout the resort - walking between buildings, climbing stairs, and occasional outdoor exposure while making pickups.
  • Schedules may include weekdays, weekends, and varied hours based on operational needs.
  • Expect to lift and carry items up to 30 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
  • You'll split time between office and warehouse support settings, with noise levels varying near warehouse operations.

Perks and Benefits for Full Time Employees:
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Enjoy a well-rounded benefits package that covers your health, wellness, and financial future.
  • Paid Time Off: Take the time you need to relax and recharge with our PTO plan.
  • Free Golf Privileges: Tee off at some of the most iconic courses in the world with complimentary golf access.
  • Quarterly Incentives: When our team meets resort-wide performance goals, we get rewarded.
  • Complimentary Lunch: Stay energized with a complimentary lunch in our Staff Cafe during your shift.
  • Resort Discounts: Save on dining and merchandise throughout the resort.
  • Supportive Work Environment: Be part of a team that supports your growth and success, with opportunities to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Career Growth: Take advantage of continuous training and development opportunities to advance your career.

If you're organized, dependable, and enjoy being the person who keeps requests moving and reunites guests with their belongings, we'd like to hear from you. This role reports to our Purchasing Manager and plays a direct part in how smoothly Logistics runs day to day.
Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employees may perform other related duties to meet the organization's ongoing needs.
At Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, we are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
