Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Electricians for projects located in or around Baytown, TX. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:      

  • Install, maintain, repair, calibrate, and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment
  • Troubleshoot and work with PLCs, VFDs, communication systems, and automated equipment
  • Read and understand electrical schematics, ladder logic, and control system documentation
  • Perform basic to advanced electrical and controls troubleshooting using equipment software and diagnostic tools
  • Assist with programming, modification, and development of PLC and control systems
  • Work with integrating, indicating, graphic, and other electrical, electronic, and mechanical instrumentation and control equipment
  • Ensure all equipment operates safely and meets OEM specifications and plant safety standards
  • Assist with equipment design, installation, commissioning, and service as needed
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and management

Requirements:

  • Hands-on industrial electrical and controls experience
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, and automated equipment
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and control systems
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and project/order processing systems
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly and effectively
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
  • Must be willing to work a flexible or rotating schedule, including overtime as needed

Preferred:

  • Allen-Bradley and Siemens experience preferred
  • Familiarity with PLC development software and electrical design software preferred
