Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security UI Developer to join our Cyber Security Analytics and Reporting team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern web-based user interfaces and analytics platforms that provide actionable cybersecurity insights to technical teams, executives, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines deep software engineering expertise with a strong understanding of cybersecurity data, enabling them to transform complex security information into intuitive and scalable user experiences. This individual will play a key role in developing dashboards, reporting platforms, workflow automation, and data visualization capabilities that support vulnerability management, threat intelligence, security operations, and cyber risk management initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces for cybersecurity analytics and reporting platforms.
  • Build and maintain reusable front-end components using React and modern UI frameworks.
  • Develop secure backend services and APIs using Python to support cybersecurity applications and data integrations.
  • Integrate data from vulnerability management, threat intelligence, security operations, cloud, and infrastructure platforms.
  • Design and optimize database structures, queries, and reporting solutions utilizing SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications


Experience

  • 10+ years of overall technology experience in software development, engineering, architecture, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of hands-on UI development experience building enterprise web applications.
  • Experience developing solutions within cybersecurity, technology risk, infrastructure, cloud, or data analytics environments.

Technical Skills (Must Have)

  • React
    • Advanced experience building enterprise-scale applications using React.
    • Experience with state management, component architecture, and responsive design.
  • Python
    • Strong experience developing APIs, services, automation, and data processing solutions.
  • SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
    • Advanced experience designing databases, optimizing queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Node.js
  • TypeScript
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and platforms such as vulnerability management, threat intelligence, SIEM, asset inventory, or risk management solutions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, QlikView, or similar analytics tools.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+.

The base salary range for this position is $105,000-$148,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Your actual compensation will be dependent on your skill, experience and qualifications.
