Drive compliance with environmental and health standards by ensuring all plant processes meet national and international regulations, while contributing to policy implementation and employee safety training.
As a Environmental Health Safety Specialist, you will ensure plant processes comply with national and international environmental standards. Assist in policy implementation and health and safety regulations. Conduct studies and analyses for environmental compliance, provide safety training, coordinate health programs, and offer medical consultations for employees
What you will do:
- Implement and maintain EHSS programs for the Potato Network region, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and Ingredion standards.
- Administer site EHSS processes, including training, documentation, program enforcement, auditing, and record retention.
- Implement security protocols for employee safety and compliance with the Food Safety Act.
- Follow Workers Compensation laws and report incidents and injuries accurately in the EHSS database.
- Conduct site EHSS training and lead EHSS activities, including the safety observation program and site safety committee.
- Report monthly progress on EHS goals, determining countermeasures for any negative deviations.
What you will bring:
- BS degree in industrial health or a related field preferred, or equivalent EHS experience with a minimum high school diploma.
- Prior experience in safety, health, and environmental roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge in medical, fire prevention, and security defense, with strong investigation and presentation skills.

Pay Range:
$69,800.00-$93,066.67 Annual
This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
