Job description

SGI Global is seeking a Pratt & Whitney Field Site Representative (FSR) to provide technical assistance, mentorship, and training to the Kenyan Air Force (KAF) in support of Pratt & Whitney engine maintenance and sustainment for C-145 aircraft. The FSR will support inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures while advising on logistics, supply chain management, and maintenance program development to enhance operational readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Assist KAF personnel in procedures for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Pratt & Whitney engines
  • Provide support and mentorship on engine systems and subsystems
  • Advise on logistics and supply procedures, including inventory management, provisioning, and spare parts sourcing
  • Support development of maintenance, logistics, tool control, calibration, and quality control programs
  • Assist in resolving warranty issues with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM)
  • Provide on-site technical guidance and training to KAF personnel
  • Develop and maintain maintenance documentation, logs, and technical libraries
  • Support development of lifecycle maintenance management practices
  • Conduct trend analysis, audits, and documentation reviews for maintenance activities
  • Prepare reports and recommendations to improve maintenance processes and operational readiness
Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen and must maintain a valid U.S. Passport
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Pratt & Whitney engines, including maintenance, inspection, repair, or overhaul
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience applying maintenance directives and using technical data
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience developing and delivering maintenance or logistics training to foreign militaries
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to travel extensively both domestically and internationally
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. or International driver's license.

Place of Performance and Travel
The primary duty location for this position is Moi Air Base in Kenya. Travel will be required in support of this task order.
