Job Title: International Controller

Overview
We are seeking an experienced International Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for the companyโ€™s global subsidiaries within a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for international consolidations, multi-currency accounting, and oversight of foreign entity financial operations, ensuring alignment with U.S. GAAP and corporate reporting standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing accounting, global consolidations, and foreign subsidiary management, along with advanced ERP systems experience and the ability to partner with international finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global consolidation process for international subsidiaries, including foreign currency translation, intercompany eliminations, and multi-entity reporting.
  • Oversee accounting and financial reporting for foreign subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and cross-border accounting activities across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
  • Partner with international finance teams to ensure consistent accounting policies, controls, and reporting standards across global entities.
  • Support manufacturing accounting operations, including cost accounting, inventory, and operational financial analysis for international facilities.
  • Drive improvements in the financial close process and global reporting efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and advisors on international audits, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
  • Leverage ERP systems and financial reporting tools to improve consolidation accuracy, reporting transparency, and process automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership within multinational organizations.
  • Manufacturing industry experience required, including exposure to cost accounting and inventory.
  • Demonstrated experience with foreign subsidiaries, international consolidations, and multi-currency accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and global financial reporting practices.
  • Advanced experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.

PAY TRANSPARENCY:
The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 โ€“ $190,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
