Job description

Job Title: Class B CDL DriverPay: $25-$28

Job Description

This role involves operating a Class B Moffett truck to complete local deliveries, typically running three to four loads per day, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will safely transport materials, assist with loading and unloading using a forklift, and have the opportunity to learn and operate a knuckle boom as part of your ongoing development.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class B CDL truck safely and efficiently to complete local delivery routes.
  • Complete approximately three to four loads per day while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Perform loading and unloading of the truck using a forklift and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Inspect the vehicle and equipment before and after trips, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and ensure materials arrive at the correct locations in good condition.
  • Operate or learn to operate a knuckle boom to support loading and unloading activities.

Essential Skills

  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively.
  • Willingness to submit to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
  • Approximately 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Strong awareness of safety practices related to truck driving and material handling.
  • Capability to load and unload materials from the truck.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience operating a knuckle boom or willingness to learn knuckle boom operation.
  • Experience driving a truck equipped with a forklift on the back.
