Job description

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Chemical Process Engineer opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN at the Y-12 National Security Complex.
Description:
The Chemical Process Engineer will support the Mechanical Project Design group.
  • Chemical engineering project support includes participation in designs ranging from scope definition, feasibility and conceptual studies, and preliminary/detailed designs.
  • Tasks include flowsheet development (block diagrams, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs), analyses and calculations, reports/studies and Process Descriptions preparation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 10 - 20+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in process design of complex nuclear or chemical facilities

Other Job Requirements:
  • United States Citizenship
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE Q Security Clearance. Active Q preferred.
