Responsibilities

We're seeking the following healthcare professionals:



  • Biomedical Engineer / Clinical Engineer

  • Biomedical Technician / Equipment Support Specialist – General (Level 0, I, II, III)

  • Biomedical Technician / Equipment Support Specialist – Information Systems

  • Biomedical Technician / Equipment Support Specialist – Medical Imaging Systems


Qualifications

Minimum:


Experience within a Biomedical Engineering department in a medical center


OR


Understanding of VISN, VA medical center, and Biomedical Engineering department operations


AND


Understanding of regulatory agencies’ requirements, industry regulatory requirements and International Standard Organization standards.


Biomed Engineer: bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Certification as a Clinical Engineer (CCE) and three years of hospital or healthcare experience


BMET: A two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.

The salary range for this position is $70,000/yr - $140,000/yr. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including but not limited to position, credentials, experience, education, and skill set.
