Job description

  • Perform technical analysis related to systems design and development
  • Derive and allocate system or subsystem requirements and implement verification and validation
  • Conduct tasks associated with systems engineering life cycle and the DoD design review process
  • Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques
  • Support systems analysis (e.g., discrete event simulation) with simulation techniques
  • Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan
  • Exercise judgment to make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
  • Demonstrate proficiency in technical writing including white papers, customer deliverable documents, etc.
  • Collaborate with leadership at all levels
  • Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external
  • Perform duties under supervision of staff and chief engineers
  • Mentor less experienced engineers
  • Other duties as assigned
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Education/Training: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required  

Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Radar systems experience, active or passive, preferred
  • Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred
  • Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred 

Security:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
