Job description

About the Role

Conversica is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the next generation of our AI-powered products. This role sits at the intersection of customers, engineering, sales, and customer success, translating customer and market needs into clear product direction and solutions that create measurable business impact.

Working closely with the Chief Product Officer, you will lead product discovery, help define new product capabilities, partner with Engineering throughout the development lifecycle, and support the successful introduction of new products and features to the market.

This is an opportunity to influence the future direction of Conversica's product portfolio and contribute across the full product lifecycle, from customer discovery and product definition through launch and adoption.

What You'll Do
Product Strategy and Discovery
  • Conduct customer discovery interviews and market research to identify customer needs, pain points, and market opportunities.

  • Help shape product strategy and priorities in alignment with company objectives.

  • Translate customer and market insights into clear product requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

  • Prioritize product initiatives based on customer value, business impact, strategic alignment, and technical feasibility.

  • Bring customer insights and market perspectives into roadmap and product-planning discussions.

Product Development
  • Partner closely with Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Provide clear context, requirements, and success criteria for new product capabilities.

  • Work through product questions and tradeoffs with technical and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.

  • Support roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and product decision-making.

Go-to-Market and Product Marketing
  • Develop clear product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to plan and execute product launches.

  • Create sales enablement materials, competitive insights, and internal product education.

  • Ensure customer-facing teams understand new product capabilities, their intended value, and how to position them effectively.

  • Contribute product content and product demonstrations to support launches and customer education.

  • Gather feedback following launches to inform adoption efforts and future product improvements.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as a strong voice of the customer across the organization.

  • Build trusted relationships with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and executive leadership.

  • Influence product decisions through customer feedback, market knowledge, business context, and data.

  • Communicate product direction and decisions clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Success in This Role

Within your first 6 to 12 months, you will:

  • Establish a consistent approach to customer discovery and synthesizing customer insights.

  • Become a trusted partner to Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strengthen product requirements, product definition, and decision-making practices.

  • Help prioritize the roadmap based on customer needs, company strategy, and business impact.

  • Improve cross-functional readiness and alignment for new product launches.

  • Bring meaningful customer and market insights into strategic product discussions.

  • Help drive stronger understanding, adoption, and feedback for newly launched capabilities.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Experience owning products or major product initiatives from customer discovery through launch.

  • Strong experience partnering closely with Engineering teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to gather customer insights and translate them into clear product requirements and decisions.

  • Experience writing product requirements, functional specifications, user stories, or similar product documentation.

  • Experience contributing to product positioning, launches, or other outbound product activities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and product leadership.

  • Ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automotive technology, dealer technology, or automotive SaaS.

  • Experience with AI, conversational AI, or data-driven software products.

  • Product marketing or go-to-market experience.

  • Sales enablement or customer-facing product experience.

  • A technical, solutions consulting, or solution architecture background.

  • Experience building or launching enterprise SaaS products.

Why Join Conversica?

You will have the opportunity to help define new AI-powered product capabilities, work closely with executive and technical leadership, and solve complex customer problems with meaningful business impact. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys combining customer discovery, strategic product thinking, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, exempt position. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $145,000 to $185,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus targeted at 10% of base salary, as well as equity participation.
