Job Purpose:
- The Senior Manager, Programs & Events at Lenbrook Square Foundation Inc is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of a diverse range of programs and events aimed at enhancing community engagement and organizational outreach. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead a team to deliver high-quality experiences that align with the foundation's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for programs and events that supports the foundation's objectives and enhances its reputation in the community.
- Lead the planning and execution of events, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for new programs and events that align with community needs and interests.
- Manage and mentor a team of program coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of all initiatives.
- Oversee the evaluation of programs and events, using feedback and data to continuously improve and innovate.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure successful collaboration and support for events.
- Prepare and manage budgets for all programs and events, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements.
- Represent the foundation at community events and meetings, acting as an ambassador to promote its mission and values.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in program and event management, preferably within a non-profit or foundation setting.
- Proven track record of successfully planning, executing, and managing large-scale events and programs.
