The Builders Hub Team, part of the Mastercard Software Builders Experience program, owns and drives developer experience for the company. The team has a unique opportunity to create a unified internal developer portal supporting and helping to drive a new internal developer platform (IDP). This portal and platform will assist all development teams across Mastercard and its M&A's, with golden paths and automation that reduces toil and cognitive load for developers. The Builders Hub team has a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of an evolving landscape of technology at Mastercard and help shape the future of development, deployment and more!
Role
Lead the design and Implementation of the Internal Developer Portal and Platform
Drive patterns and standards for Internal Developer Platform integration and automation
Create mechanisms to ensure alignment to those standards and best practices In an automated fashion
Lead by example with hands-on approaches to demonstrate engineering excellence
Mentor and guide software engineers and lead the team to improve engineering productivity, quality, and technology policy compliance

12+ Years of lead software engineering experience
Deep, applied knowledge of designing, Implementing and supporting internal development platforms in a multi cloud environment
Deep understanding of cloud providers including AWS and Azure (Services, Access controls, Integration and Automation....etc)
Solid understanding of cloud security In highly regulated market segments and countries.
Solid experience with site reliability engineering mindset and creating solutions that are resilient, supportable and observable at all layers of the stack
Deep understanding of automation using various tools
Deep understanding of observability In a cloud environment
Solid understanding of pure Kubernetes and cloud provider based managed services Kubernetes
Proficient in web service design, standards, best practices and Implementation
Deep understanding of containerization and designing ephemeral solutions
