ABOUT THE TEAM

Our Enterprise Systems team plans and executes changes to Broadview's internal and external applications that support delivering best-in-class services to Broadview's members and internal departments such as Employee Experience, Accounting, Finance, Vendors & Records. This role is charged with the full software development life cycle of new and existing software.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Strategy & Planning

  • Identify and recommend new features and applications in conjunction with business leaders.

  • Proactively keep up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies; drive adoption of new technologies and best practices.

Acquisition & Deployment

  • Implement approved hardware, software, platforms, publishing tools, and programming languages for the development of system updates.

Software Development & Support

  • Participate in peer reviewing code and paired programming with senior developers.

  • Recommend and implement enhancements and modifications to the platform.

  • Develop software applications and APIs using suitable technologies.

  • Remain current on regulatory requirements for technology systems.

  • Collaborate with senior technical team members on technical designs to ensure they are consistent and aligned with the broader enterprise vision.

  • Work with Risk Management and Information Security to follow security standards and ensure new and existing applications meet security standards.

  • Ensure vulnerability exposures resulting from security scans are addressed in a timely manner.

  • Provide timely resolution to support tickets in accordance with team service level targets.

  • Testing

Develop comprehensive testing plan that includes:

  • Acceptance criteria

  • Code coverage minimums are met

  • Automated testing services are in place

  • Define, Develop, and maintain unit tests.

Processes

  • Actively contribute to and enforce best practices and group standards.

  • Keep up to date on current technology and secure programming practices.

  • Work with Enterprise Architecture to develop and maintain standards documentation.

  • Perform peer and lead code reviews.

  • Ensure code review process meets security standards.

LET'S TALK IF YOU

  • Have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Can demonstrate proficiency in software development of C#, Java or Python, and SQL.

  • Possess knowledge of web services such as SOAP and REST APIs .

  • Have experience with Agile development practices.

Compensation:$77,414-$98,703, plus a competitive benefits package
