EHS Supervisor

Date: 06/2026

Reports to: EHS Manager

Location: Dalton, GA 

Classification: Non-exempt

SUMMARY 
The EHS Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the prevention of environmental and safety related accidents at workplaces through administrative tasks, maintain compliance related documentation per the environmental safety and health management system. The EHS Supervisor will demonstrate commitment to maintaining an accident-free workplace. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist in on-site management and systems related to EHS introduction and operation. 
  • Assist in approval of safety work, pre-operation safety inspection, emergency response training, and internal audit. 
  • Assist in conducting safety committee meetings
  • Trainings (regular, new, and special), MSDS management, improvement of work environment measurement, investigation of harmful effects of musculoskeletal diseases. 
  • Regularly provide EHS trainings and support to all employees. 
  • Follow up for workers compensation claims with employees and insurance
  • Accurately record data and production information. 
  • Adhere to the Health & Safety procedures
  • Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing system
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, updating bulletin boards, updating posters, etc.
  • Adhere to the federal and local environmental safety and health policies. 
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS. 
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and written 
  • Flexibility to adapt to different tasks 
  • Awareness of Health and Safety  
  • Eye for detail and quality 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively within the team 
  • Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlled 
  • Assertive, able to cope with pressure
  • A self-motivated and driven team player 
  • Proactive approach toward various issues
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience in assembly and/or manufacturing environment 
  • High level of work ethic toward improving organizational culture 
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
