Internal Medicine Opening in Warrenton, ORLocated 90 miles from PortlandPosition Details:

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Medical Provider is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join an existing practice group of 1 physician and 1 nurse practitioner in Warrenton, Oregon. Join us in our mission to provide excellence, leadership, and compassion in the enhancement of health for those we serve.
  • This position will serve as a Clinical Associate providing care within the Primary Care Clinic in Warrenton. Clinical Associates are fully embedded physicians and devote 100 percent of their time to patient care.
  • Highlights
  • Work schedule: Four 10-hour days per week; includes 4-hours per week of admin time. Weekdays only. Either 7am-5pm or 9am-7pm. Schedule is set prior to starting at facility in collaboration with the Medical Group Director, Clinic Manager, and other providers.
  • Call schedule: Phone only; 1:6 call schedule; on for a week at a time; holiday call coverage is spread out to all the providers. Low volume call compared to urban/suburban environments.
  • Compensation/compensation structure: provider uses MGMA 3-year rolling average. For Internal Medicine, facility starts at the 50th percentile for new providers coming out of residency currently 236K. wRVUs are benchmarked at the 25th percentile; Providers who exceed 50th percentile are eligible for RVU/Quality bonus structure (rate discussed during onsite interviews)
  • Benefits: comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, two retirement plan options, and much more. Providers and family members are also eligible for 50% discount on healthcare services provided at medical facility (after insurance).
  • Average patients per day 18 to 22 ppd; after ramp up
  • Number of other providers in the practice 3 clinic locations (Astoria, Seaside, Warrenton). Currently recruiting for a provider in Seaside (growth) and a provider in Warrenton (replacement). Total providers currently:
  • Astoria 2 physicians, 2 PAs, .5 PMHNP
  • Seaside 1 physician, 1 DNP, .5 PMHNP
  • Warrenton 2 physicians, 2 DNPs
Medical facility is an independent, non-profit 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, Level IV trauma center, with a rural designation on steroids! We have a wide variety of specialty clinics including Ortho, Podiatry, Urology, Womens Health, Pediatrics, Medical & Radiation Oncology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, and General Surgery, that operate full-time.The 4/10s, outpatient-only schedule with limited 1:6 call (phone only) is an opportunity to join an established practice and enjoy an active, outdoors-oriented lifestyle in a small vibrant community setting.
