Job description

The Outreach Intern will assist in serving individuals experiencing homelessness throughout New York City and New Jersey. This intern will regularly join outreach trips, supporting frontline efforts that prioritize dignity, hospitality, and relational engagement.

Responsibilities include assisting with food and beverage preparation, organizing outreach supplies, supporting vehicle preparation and breakdown, and helping ensure outreach events are executed smoothly and efficiently. The intern will also assist with warehouse organization and inventory tasks as needed to maintain readiness for ongoing outreach initiatives.

Throughout the internship, the intern will gain hands-on exposure to urban outreach operations, direct service environments, and faith-based nonprofit programming. In addition to field experience, the intern will receive ongoing coaching and mentorship, opportunities designed to strengthen leadership skills, spiritual formation, and practical service capacity.


This internship is from September 2026 through May 2027. The schedule is 20-25 hours per week. Fridays and Saturdays from 7 am - 3pm are required and the other hours can be coordinated with program leadership. There is a $1,000 monthly stipend for this internship. Candidates with a valid driver's license are encouraged to apply.
