Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a College Intern to support our Water Resources Engineering team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
As an Intern, you will perform hands-on work to apply your classroom experience to real-world projects and help you envision your future career. You'll be an active member of our engineering team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers. You'll be introduced to Wilson & Company's culture, helping you evaluate our firm as a future career choice. As a valuable addition to our team, you will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment.
Required Skills:
  • Highly responsible and dependable.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and an impeccable work ethic
  • Ability to work with a team under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer

Required Experience:
  • Currently registered in a local college or university, pursuing a Civil Engineering degree.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil3D drafting/design programs a plus, but not necessary. You will receive significant hands-on and tutorial training on any number of these as an employee.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word and Excel required.
  • Understanding of hydrology and hydraulics
  • Working knowledge of CUHP, SWMM, and HEC-RAS a plus

Hourly Rate: $20-$23 / hour
