The Opportunity: September 2026 Start
As a WaveLogic Software Intern, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of optical networking solutions within a collaborative engineering environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on software projects that are integral to network solutions and innovative technology development. The position encourages creative problem solving and technical collaboration.
How you will make an impact:
  • Contribute to software projects that support optical network solutions.
  • Develop software for performance and reliability in multi-processor, highly concurrent systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to advance innovative technology initiatives.
  • Apply new ideas to technical challenges.
  • Participate in the development of embedded software solutions.
The must haves:
  • Education: Actively enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or Engineering,
  • A passion for or experience developing software embedded solutions engineered for performance and reliability on multi-processor, highly concurrent systems.
  • C/C++ coding experience.
Nice to haves:
  • Self-motivated problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Interest in solving technical issues in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working in a lab environment.
  • Experience using Linux based workstations.
  • Experience writing scripts (python, bash, ...).
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio Code, git.
Pay Range:
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00.
