TITLE: Human Resources Intern
REPORTS TO: SVP of HR
Non-Exempt
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the HR Director, the Human Resources Intern provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources team with a variety of tasks including record keeping, recruitment, and benefits enrollment.
- Assist with recruiting and staffing (post positions, schedule interviews, check references, and prepare follow-up correspondence.)
- Perform miscellaneous office duties (answer phones, submit team supply orders, and reception relief etc.)
- Assist in performing benefits enrollment to include communicating benefit information to employees.
- Participates in department meetings and other meetings and seminars as appropriate.
- Compiles reports from HRIS database.
- Performs other duties assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursuing bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Psychology or a closely related field.
- Prior HRIS database experience is preferred.
- Profound ability to research, perform analysis, draw conclusions and make recommendations is required.
- Strong computer skills (Specifically on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe) is required.
- Sound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
