Job description

About RUM Group Inc.
RUM Group Inc. is an AI infrastructure and video company. Its Quake AI business delivers AI compute as a service, operating AI data centers including GPU and CPU compute, storage, and networking at scale. Rumble, RUM Group's video business and the original tenant of Quake AI, provides creators and enterprises a full suite of video technologies, unlocking reach, scale, and monetization. RUM Group is building the rails of the agentic-first enterprise: the AI compute, cloud infrastructure, and trust layer for the agentic AI future, advancing RUM Group's mission to maximize the power of human imagination. For more information visit www.rum.group.
Rumble is redefining how creators and audiences connect through video, and we're looking for a UX Designer who can raise the bar and set the direction for the experience across our web, mobile, and OTT products. This role is for an expert individual contributor who owns complex problem spaces, brings strong, well-reasoned opinions, and helps shape what we build, not just how it looks.
As a UX Designer at Rumble, you'll be a driving force in defining the future of our product experiences. You'll partner with product and engineering to define problems, propose new patterns and flows, and ensure we make evidence-based decisions that serve both users and the business. You'll be expected to proactively identify opportunities, frame tradeoffs, and drive UX initiatives from discovery through delivery.
You'll set a high bar for craft and systems thinking across our ecosystem: refining interaction models, strengthening our design system, and guiding cross-functional teams toward cohesive, consistent experiences. If you're comfortable challenging assumptions, leading discussions, and advocating for user-centered decisions with clear rationale, you'll have a significant, visible impact on how Rumble feels and functions every day.
Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end UX for key product areas across web, mobile, and OTT, from discovery and problem framing through to high-fidelity design and launch.
  • Set a bold, forward-looking design vision that meaningfully elevates the quality and cohesion of Rumble's experiences across every platform.
  • Proactively identify usability issues, experience gaps, and new opportunities, and bring forward clear, evidence-based proposals.
  • Translate product strategy, requirements, and research insights into intuitive flows, wireframes, and polished prototypes for stakeholder and executive review.
  • Shape and evolve our interaction patterns, information architecture, and visual language, ensuring consistency and scalability as the product surface area grows.
  • Lead or co-lead discovery activities, such as workshops, journey maps, and concept explorations, to align teams on the problem space and desired outcomes.
  • Plan and run usability studies and other user research, synthesize findings, and translate them into concrete design decisions and product recommendations.
  • Champion, extend, and maintain our design system, including components, pattern libraries, usage guidelines, and documentation, in close collaboration with designers and engineers.
  • Influence product roadmaps by bringing a strong user-centered lens to prioritization discussions and by articulating tradeoffs and impact.
  • Collaborate tightly with engineering to ensure designs are implemented with high quality, validating builds and iterating quickly based on real-world feedback.
  • Create and maintain clear design documentation that supports alignment across cross-functional teams and keeps decisions durable over time.
  • Set a high standard for UX craft, informally mentor teammates where appropriate, and model proactive, ownership-driven behavior.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years designing native mobile apps, responsive web, and/or OTT experiences, with a portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end ownership of complex product work.
  • Strong expertise in Figma and modern design tooling, including components, design systems, and interactive prototyping.
  • Deep understanding of UX and interaction design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices, with a track record of shipping high-impact features.
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining components, pattern libraries, and guidelines documentation as part of a scalable design system.
  • Demonstrated ability to propose solutions, push back constructively, and influence product direction using clear rationale, data, and user insights.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities, with the ability to bring structure to loosely defined problems and drive them to outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills and a high degree of diligence; able to manage multiple workstreams without sacrificing quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting work to senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional discussions.
  • Ability to receive and give constructive feedback and translate it into improved outcomes for both the work and the team.
  • Portfolio link required with application.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of branding and visual identity systems, and how they translate into product experiences.
  • Experience in a marketing design agency or in designing marketing and growth-oriented product surfaces.
  • Background working on consumer-facing media, streaming, or social platforms.

Annual Compensation Range:
$100,000 - $120,000 CAD base + benefits + equity (If based in Canada)
$119,000 - $142,000 USD base + benefits + equity (If based in the United States)
Note: The salary range listed for this position is a good faith estimate based on experience, qualifications, and internal compensation structure. The actual salary offered varies depending on the candidate's skill level and experience. This posting refers to an active vacancy within the organization.
Why Our Team Loves Working Here:
  • We are making a significant financial impact for our video creator community; we're proud of their success stories
  • We enjoy challenging the status quo and going head-to-head against Big Tech
  • We aren't afraid to try new things; we act fast and want to win
  • We pay competitive salaries and provide great benefits

EEO Statement:

We promote an equal playing field where everyone has the same opportunities regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability status, or any other applicable characteristics protected by law.
