Job description

TEKsystems is currently seeking an IT Risk and Security Analyst/Engineer for a 6-month Hybrid Remote contract located in Meridian, Idaho.

Focus is on IT Risk Assessments, Policy Exceptions, NIST CSF and HIPAA Security Assessments.

Conducting risk assessments, ensuring appropriate risk treatment plans are implemented, driving compliance with policies. Managing

policy lifecycle, monitoring adherence to governance frameworks, and collaborating with stakeholders. 

Required Experience: 3-4/+ years minimum, in IT experience; preferably 3/+ in cybersecurity related work

Monitors, analyzes, and maintains systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, networks, databases, and web-based security. Ensures appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and assurance from internal and external perspectives.

Education must meet one of the following:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field of study or equivalent work experience*

International Degree equivalency

Applicable certification(s) as defined by the leader + 2 years additional experience

Associate Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field + 2 years additional experience

* (Two years relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

This is a Contract position based out of Meridian, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
