San Diego State University is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Web Developer I to support and maintain websites for the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity. Department Summary
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Diversity is responsible for the coordination and development of student services and building the inclusive excellence of SDSU's staff and faculty at San Diego State University. Departments include, but not limited to, Career Services; Center for Educational Opportunity Programs, Outreach and Success; Digital Marketing and Creative Services; Counseling & Psychological Services; Community Centers; Military Veterans Program; Orientation, Transition and Family Engagement ; Office of the Student Ombudsman; Residential Education; Resource Management; Student Disability Services; Student Health Services; Glazer Center; Student Activities and Organizations; Student Rights and Responsibilities; Testing Services Office; Well-being & Health Promotion; and programming related to Inclusive Excellence.
The Department of Communication Services/Digital Marketing and Creative Services develops, coordinates and executes communication efforts for the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity and its departments. Digital Marketing and Creative Services creates print, electronic and social media communications that supports the division's mission and programs. The department also leads and supports more general student and family focused communications including internal and external communication, marketing, social media and other forms of digital communications, in collaboration with Strategic Communications and Public Affairs (Stratcomm).

SDSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current SDSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
