This role is designed for those who value flexibility and want to see how the numbers on a screen connect to the physical operations of a production facility. Job DescriptionReports to: Inventory Analyst
Status: Part-Time (20 Hours/Week)
Compensation: Hourly
Position Overview The Accounting Intern is not a typical "office-only" internship. This position will help us maintain accuracy between our physical inventory and our financial records. It is a perfect fit for a student who enjoys a mix of office and hands-on in a production and distribution environment. This role requires a high degree of reliability, organizational skills, detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support: Assist with filing and special projects as required.
Computer/Data Entry: Extract data from ERP to Excel. Proficient in data entry into Excel record counts and review inventory variances.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all plant safety protocols and food safety requirements at all times.
Qualifications
Technical: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning NetSuite required data downloads to Excel.
Attributes: Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, work well with others, and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment that may be dusty.
Schedule
Flexible scheduling: Minimum 4 hours daily OR specific set days Mon-Fri; excludes holidays.
