Overview
St. Francis Hospital is excited to host our next AORN Periop 101 program!
This program will begin on October 5, 2026
This 1-year program is an exciting opportunity for May 2026 BSN Graduates and experienced RN's looking to begin their career in Perioperative nursing. The program will include several modes of learning meant to prepare you to work in our award winning operating room.
This program includes didactic work in classroom setting, videos, certification of Periop 101 upon completion, lab series in the operating rooms, rotations through various surgical services and a preceptorship.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
  • NYS Registered Nurse License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association

Please include a statement in your application as to why you are interested in Perioperative Services and if you have had any exposure to the Operating room in your education or experience.
