Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health screenings for new and ongoing patients to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
  • Provide evidence-based individual counseling sessions that range from crisis intervention to ongoing therapeutic support, leveraging brief therapy models appropriate for a remote setting.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops, focusing on mental health topics that foster personal growth, coping strategies, and peer support among patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of a patientโ€™s health are addressed.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives, including mental health awareness campaigns, to help destigmatize mental health issues and promote wellness.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will serve a diverse array of patients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, and other mental health conditions. Our patient population includes adults, adolescents, and families from various backgrounds, with unique socio-economic challenges and varying levels of access to mental health care. This role is integral in promoting mental wellness across our community, providing culturally competent care to individuals who may face barriers to traditional counseling services.

Qualifications
  • Active state licensure as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health issues prevalent in diverse populations, particularly in a healthcare setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Expertise in evidence-based practices and a strong foundation in brief therapy models.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a remote telehealth setting is highly desirable.
  • Experience with integrated care models and knowledge of local mental health resources.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
Compensation and Benefits
