The typical work schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexible hours available to accommodate individual needs. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess individual and familial needs for therapy, ensuring thorough understanding and documentation of client situations.
• Engage in collaborative clinical discussions, contributing a family-centered perspective to develop effective treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions, providing both group and individual counseling, ensuring an inclusive approach that addresses the complexities of family dynamics related to substance misuse.
• Lead educational groups on topics such as substance misuse, mental health topics, and improving family relationships, empowering clients with the knowledge and tools necessary for recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans, to ensure compliance with medical standards and enhance quality care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies as needed, leveraging a holistic approach to treatment that addresses all facets of clients' lives.
• Identify opportunities for program enhancement and participate in quality improvement initiatives to elevate the effectiveness of services provided.
• Stay informed about industry trends and uphold all licensing and certification requirements, ensuring the highest standards of care.

You will be working primarily with a diverse clientele struggling with substance abuse issues, including both adults and children. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Georgia is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting, is essential.
• Solid knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines relevant to counseling practices is expected.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are critical for building therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Experience working effectively within a healthcare team is required.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse, or trauma counseling is highly valued.
• Experience in facilitating educational or therapeutic groups focused on substance use and mental health is desirable.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and workload.
