Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to identify their mental health needs.
  • Perform initial comprehensive patient evaluations, gathering detailed information to inform individualized treatment plans.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members regarding assessment findings, treatment interventions, and ongoing care plans through regular documentation and meetings.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to facilitate therapeutic interventions tailored to clients' unique service plans.
  • Manage case files responsibly, ensuring timely and ethical documentation in line with departmental standards.
  • Coordinate with hospital and community resources to provide a comprehensive support system for clients, leveraging local programs to optimize treatment outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve a diverse range of clients seeking help for various psychiatric and emotional challenges. This may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other forms of distress. The approach is client-centered, focusing on building rapport and creating a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth.

Qualifications
  • Active licensure as a mental health professional (LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW) in the state of New York.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
  • An earned Bachelorโ€™s Degree in a relevant field; Masterโ€™s Degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating within a team framework.
