Intern - Commercial Legal
Lyten islooking for a Commercial Legal Intern to support the legal team with ongoing commercial contracting and contract management activities due to increased business and vendor agreement volume. This work will contribute directly to improving contract turnaround time, standardization, and overall legal operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reviewing and summarizing NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements, and other commercial contracts
  • Maintain contract trackers
  • Support clause library and template updates,
  • Conduct legal research,
  • Assist with procurement-related legal requests.

Deliverables will include:

  • Contract summaries
  • Updated trackers and templates
  • Legal research memoranda
  • A final capstone presentation

Requirements:

  • Current 1st, 2ndor 3rdyear law student

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 20-30 lbs.
  • Able to stand for up to 5 hours

The internship will run for up to 12 weeks, including onboarding, active contract support work, process improvement initiatives, and a final presentation. The capstone project will focus on Commercial Contract Process Improvement and Clause Standardization to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and consistency in contract review processes.

Compensations Range:

The expected base salary range for this position is between

$25.00 - $32.00

The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.

The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.

In addition to base pay this position is eligible for tier based bonus and equity, healthcare, dental, vision, corporate discounts, paid holidays, PTO and sick time, 401K, employee relocation plan (if applicable)
