Job description

**US Citizenship and Passport Required, and Initial Extended International Travel**

The Production Quality Inspector ensures that products and manufacturing processes meet defined quality standards throughout the Production Center. This role supports issue resolution, contributes to product and process control activities, and collaborates closely with Engineering to ensure robust, reliable, and maintainable product designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control inspections of manufactured products and existing production processes in accordance with applicable standards and methodologies.
  • Participate in the analysis and resolution of product and manufacturing process issues.
  • Contribute to the definition, implementation, and maintenance of Product and Process Control Plans.
  • Support the Engineering team in applying quality criteria during product design to ensure:
    • Proper industrialization of the manufacturing process
    • Accurate testing, measurement, and control methods
    • Long-term product reliability and maintainability
  • Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying quality risks and opportunities within production processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Quality Inspector in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in electronic assembly.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable electronic and microelectronic standards, including:
    • IPC/J-STD-001
    • IPC-A-610
    • IPC-A-620
  • Proven experience with quality assurance and inspection processes.
  • Knowledge of electronic assembly processes and test methods is an asset.
  • Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies (8D, QRQC) is an asset.
  • Understanding of quality tools such as FMEA and Control Plans is an asset.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
