Job description

Fab Werks is a steel fabrication company that is looking for a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently to join our team. We offer a great culture, competitive benefits, and on the job training.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform 1st piece, In-process & Final inspections of parts to drawings, work orders, customer instructions, and any other specifications.
  • Visually inspect and measure parts using tape measure, caliper, and angle gage.
  • Familiar with equipment calibration process, proper use, handling, maintenance and preservation of measuring equipment and gages.
  • Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports.
  • Communicate quality problems and work with engineering and leads to support, investigate, and resolve quality issues.
  • Assist in shipping functions such as counting, tagging, prepping, and loading. (Forklift experience required)

Requirements:

  • 3 + years manufacturing (Quality background a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings (Manufacturing experience a plus).
  • ISO experience a plus.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
