Job description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team and manage multi-family construction projects from the beginning stages to completion. This is a great opportunity for an experienced team leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and is committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
About the Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll oversee the full life cycle of multi-family construction projects from estimating, planning, marketing, and design to the final stages of construction, occupancy, warranty, and beyond. You will manage project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure project objectives are met with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. If you are an organized, solution-driven leader with the ability to work well under pressure and guide teams while managing complex projects—this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage subcontracts, budget management, payment applications, change management, and schedules.
  • Manage certain aspects of resource allocation, risk management, safety, and quality.
  • Maintain client relations and success.
  • Develop relations with project affiliated entities such as architects, engineers, consultants, and governing bodies.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the construction division’s portfolio.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure they are meeting project goals and objectives.
  • Support internal collaboration and uphold company values and standards of care.

What You Bring:
  • Experience: 8+ years in construction or a related field, and/or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in construction management or a related discipline. Extensive knowledge of multi-family project types and trades. 
  • Systems Knowledge: Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Office, Outlook, Zoom, MS Teams, AutoCAD (for plan viewing), and DocuSign
  • Skills: Proficient in contract negotiation, issue recognition and resolution, strategic planning. Ability to interpret construction documents, technical writing, and critical thinking. Fundamental knowledge of human resources and employee management. Risk management and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Attributes: Resourceful, persistent, dedicated, articulate, meticulous, cooperative, strategic, observant, balanced, helpful, and personable.

  • Reports to Vice President of Multi-Family
  • Oversees Project Manager, Superintendent, Project Engineer, Intern

Physical Requirements:
  • Desk and computer-based work.
  • Ability to walk 1-2 miles on job sites, climb ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
  • Commute to and from project sites and required.
