Role Overview
NiCE is looking for an entry-level professional to join its Project Management team within the Compliance business.
NiCE Compliance is a global leader in financial regulatory software (RegTech), serving many of the world's most prestigious financial institutions. Our Software-as-a-Service solutions help organizations meet regulatory requirements related to communications and trading activity capture, archiving, and surveillance.
As a Project Management Intern, you will work alongside experienced Project Managers and cross-functional teams to support the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic customer and internal projects. This internship provides hands-on exposure to project management methodologies, stakeholder communication, risk management, and business operations within a fast-paced technology environment.
You will gain valuable experience coordinating project activities, tracking deliverables, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and helping ensure successful project outcomes while developing foundational project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
  • Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Coordinate meetings, document meeting minutes, and track action items to completion.
  • Support project kickoffs, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Help maintain project documentation, project trackers, and reporting dashboards.
Project Execution & Monitoring
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, issues, or roadblocks.
  • Assist in updating project status reports and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Support resource coordination across multiple teams and workstreams.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Participate in customer and internal stakeholder meetings.
  • Help facilitate communication between business, technical, and operational teams.
  • Document requirements, decisions, and project outcomes to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and executive project updates.
Process Improvement
  • Analyze project workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in documenting best practices, templates, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the project management organization.
Customer & Implementation Support
  • Assist with project-related onboarding activities and implementation planning.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and feedback collection.
  • Help ensure successful project delivery by tracking customer commitments and internal deliverables.
Business Operations Support (Stretch Goal)
  • Partner with Project Managers and business leaders to analyze project performance metrics.
  • Assist in developing project dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Support strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence and customer success.
Skills & Qualifications
Communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable facilitating discussions and documenting project outcomes.
Organization & Time Management
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong follow-through and accountability.
Problem-Solving
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to think critically and adapt to changing project requirements.
Technical Proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, Asana, or Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
Quick Learner
  • Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong initiative and adaptability.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Experience
  • Previous internship, leadership, academic project, or team-based experience is preferred but not required.
  • Exposure to project coordination, business operations, or technology environments is a plus.
Education
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
