About You

We're seeking a results-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Social Media Intern. In this role, you will support marketing communications and social media efforts for Dymax brands by working closely with the global MarCom team to produce engaging digital (video) content and support customer relationship marketing efforts.

Additionally, you will:

    • Edit and package B2B video content for LinkedIn and YouTube (e.g., customer stories, product demos, event recaps, expert clips) following brand guidelines
    • Create YouTube-ready deliverables including shorts, intros/outros, captions, thumbnails, and basic motion graphics as provided
    • Support production by assisting with simple shoots and interviews (in-office, lab, or event), capturing b-roll, and organizing footage for efficient post-production and approvals
    • Optimize publishing details by drafting titles, descriptions, chapters, tags/hashtags, and on-screen CTAs aligned to target keywords and campaign goals
    • Draft editorial calendar in Hootsuite for LinkedIn and YouTube.
    • Track and report performance (views, watch time, retention, clicks, engagement) and share recommendations to improve future topics, hooks, and formats

Projects participated in will require a presentation on results to a designated audience as they are completed.

Requirements

You should:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, other video editing software).
  • Proficiency in social media tools (Hootsuite)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and video production.
