This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Boisbriand with Signify, the world leader in lighting.
- Create detailed drawings indicating dimensions, views, and other useful information for manufacturing.
- Develop detailed drawings for tooling, molds, and factory layouts required for the role.
- Communicate regularly, or as needed, with the Manufacturing Department to make agreed-upon modifications to drawings to facilitate production while meeting customer requirements.
- Create and update bills of materials (BOMs) used in product manufacturing.
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve the accuracy of planning tools and identify continuous improvement opportunities in production methods.
- Participate in the study and application of quality best practices (office and plant).

- Currently pursuing a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Operations and Logistics Engineering.
- College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is considered an asset.
- Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong French communication skills, both written and verbal.
