Office Intern

The Office Administrator Intern at Electra Grid Solutions provides support with daily office operations, administrative tasks, and front desk responsibilities while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional office environment. This role offers exposure to office administration, guest services, and internal team support. The intern will learn essential organizational and communication skills while contributing to the smooth operation of the office.

Front Desk & Guest Support

  • Greet and welcome visitors and employees as the front desk representative during office hours.
  • Assist with guest arrivals, providing hospitality and ensuring the lobby is professional and welcoming.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and distribute them appropriately.
  • Assist with meeting room setup and clean-up for group meetings.

Office Administration & Operations

  • Help track and organize office supplies and assist with reordering when needed.
  • Maintain office kitchen inventory, restocking snacks and beverages as directed.
  • Support with marketing inventory organization for events and campaigns.
  • Assist with mail, packages, and correspondence, including drop-off, pick-up, and obtaining signatures.
  • Provide general administrative support such as printing, filing, and organizing documents.
  • Help maintain clean and organized shared office spaces.

Employee Support

  • Assist with ordering and tracking PPE kits for new hires under staff supervision.
  • Support the management of American FR accounts for employees as needed.
  • Provide backup support to office staff with basic administrative tasks.

Coordination & Vendor Support

  • Help coordinate office vendors or service providers under guidance.
  • Assist leadership and staff with scheduling, filing, and project support.

Requirements
