Job description

Your future role on our team

When you join our team, you'll mainly be involved inNERC compliance studies for modelling and assessing the dynamic performance ofgeneration facilities connected to North American power systems. You'll supportprojects from defining requirements to delivering reports, including onsitetesting, modelling, results analyses and technical recommendations. You'll workwith a team specialized in power systems, stability, integration of powergeneration facilities and regulatory compliance. You'll also help ensure thequality of our services and maintain trusting relationships with our clients.

With us, you'll get the opportunity to...

  • Carry out NERC compliance studies, specifically in accordance with MOD-025, MOD-026, MOD-027 and MOD-032 standards
Develop, validate and calibrate dynamic models of generation equipment, and perform the required system studies, including load flow, short-circuit and stability
  • Analyze field tests, performance data and system disturbances to validate models and evaluate the behaviour of hydroelectric, wind, solar and industrial facilities
  • Prepare compliance documentation, run required simulations using tools such as PSSE, work with clients and stakeholders and write and deliver technical reports
