1st Team Soccer Operations
2026 MLS Season Intern (Fall 2026)
The 1st Team Soccer Operations Internship allows the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment, and marketing industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required. The purpose of this internship is to assist the Soccer Operations Department (Administrators and Equipment Managers) with the daily duties involved with the Major League Soccer team FC Dallas.
What you'll do:
  • Ensure all necessary & required equipment is available for all FCD Home and Away Games for the 1st Team.
  • Ensure that all MLS requirements & protocols are followed for all FCD games.
  • Assist the Equipment managers with preparation & distribution of all equipment for the FCD Professional players, coaches & staff.
  • Assist the Equipment managers in the necessary & timely preparation for all professional team practices (Field & Equipment).
  • Assisting with the set-up of daily team practice - daily distribution of practice gear for players, Coaches, staff members and all guest players.
  • Perform necessary & required laundry duties pertinent to the professional team, coaches, & staff needs (Gear, Uniforms, towels etc.).
  • Receiving, cataloging FC Dallas and distribution of all new incoming team gear. Preserving and cataloging all archived team gear.
  • Aid the administrators with hosting duties for visiting teams for all FC Dallas home games.
  • Assist the player engagement department with player care tasks and adaptation for FC Dallas players and staff.
  • All other duties as assigned by the administrative and equipment staff.

You are:
  • A friendly, upbeat student wanting to work within the sports industry
  • Hard-working, dedicated, and passionate about soccer.
  • Able to take initiative and maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment
  • Deadline-driven and can work under pressure while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Required to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on match schedule.

Qualifications:
  • Must be an active college student.
  • Must receive college credit for internship with our company.
  • Required to be fully vaccinated prior to start date with FC Dallas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid Driver License and clean driving record and access to your own vehicle.
  • Knowledge of Major League Soccer and FC Dallas
