Pride Health is hiring a Plastic Surgery RN for one of our clients located in Seattle, WA! (Contract)
  • This role will be working in a Plastic Surgery Clinic
Schedule: Mon-Fri 4x10s (6:45-5:15pm)
Contract: 3 months to start
Pay Rate: 45-50/hour
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Under general supervision of the ASC Practice manager and under direct supervision of the Charge Nurse, the Staff Registered Nurse (RN), is responsible for safe patient care from pre-operative through post-anesthesia, if applicable, recovery and discharge of the patient.
  • Provides nursing care in the peroperative setting including pre-op and PACU.
  • Performs ECG's, urine pregnancy and glucometer testing.
  • Assess patient status in pre-op, ensure accurate identification and verifies all consent forms.
  • Assesses pre-operative vital signs to ensure they are within accetable parameters for scheduled surgeries.
  • Performs initial assessment on arrival in the PACU, including managing patient airways, including airway adjuncts.
  • Documents nursing activities to provide a permanent record, for continuity of care, quality improvement and professional accountability
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Active RN License
  • BLS, ACLS
  • Pre Op, PACU, or Perioperative experience preferred
