About This Team

The lululemon Global Network team is a group of highly skilled and motivated Network Engineers that are transforming the network by moving to a Platform and Self-Service model. We thrive on providing excellent customer service, deploying innovative solutions, and solving business problems with technology. At its core, networking provides tools and capabilities to the organization that allow for easy and smooth enablement of business functions. The team is responsible for all aspects of the lululemon Network: Stores, Warehouses, Cloud, Data Center, and Corporate Offices, from architecture/design to implementation to operations.

A Day in the Life

The successful candidate:

  • Enjoys building and supporting solutions that enable others to work smoothly and efficiently
  • Works closely with other technologists and business partners alike
  • Will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting and optimizing a large scale, complex, high performance network across the global footprint, including the SSCs, Stores, Distribution Centers, Cloud environments and all interface points with lululemon core application systems
  • Approaches technology with a business and customer service view
  • Uses networks, systems, and automation languages to create, test, and operate sustainable Network applications and services
  • Ensures the Network is designed to be highly available, stable, and observable via Network Engineering best practices
  • Assists in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues
  • Pushes for consistent improvement
  • Is a collaborative teammate that works effectively across organizational structures
  • Excels in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working in an Enterprise scale Network Engineering role

• Current professional network certification such as CCNP or equivalent knowledge

• Familiarity with programming and automation tools and concepts (e.g. Python, CI/CD, Terraform, GIT) preferred

• Strong fundamental knowledge of OSI layers 1-4

• Strong fundamental knowledge of routing (e.g. OSPF and BGP), switching (e.g. STP), firewalls, Enterprise wireless, and Cloud networking

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Hands-on experience with Meraki products and Palo Alto firewalls preferred
