Summary
The Enterprise Applications Senior Oracle APEX Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications, user interfaces, workflows, and data-driven solutions using Oracle Application Express (APEX) within the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning and enterprise applications environment. This role partners with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications that support operational and strategic business needs.
Position Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support enterprise applications using Oracle APEX.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable application solutions, user interfaces, workflows, and business processes.
  • Develop custom Oracle APEX applications, pages, forms, interactive reports, interactive grids, dashboards, and user interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and complex SQL queries to support application functionality.
  • Design and maintain application data models, database objects, queries, and data-processing logic within Oracle Database.
  • Support financial, human resources, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, project accounting, and other Fusion modules through Oracle APEX applications and solutions.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to understand business processes, application requirements, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop integrations between Oracle APEX applications, Oracle Fusion applications, external systems, and third-party services using REST APIs, web services, ORDS, and other integration technologies.
  • Develop and maintain application security, authentication, authorization, access controls, and role-based security in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Optimize application and database performance and ensure application reliability, data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Troubleshoot application, database, integration, and performance issues and provide timely technical support to end users and business teams.
  • Develop technical documentation, application specifications, data models, integration documentation, deployment procedures, and user guides.
  • Participate in Oracle Database, and Oracle APEX upgrades, patches, testing, and system enhancement projects.
  • Develop and execute unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
  • Follow application development standards, version control practices, coding standards, and organizational data governance and security requirements.
  • Support application modernization and digital transformation initiatives by evaluating opportunities to replace manual processes and legacy applications with Oracle APEX solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on application deployments across development, test, and production environments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for enterprise application development and promote best practices in Oracle APEX and Oracle Database development.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Oracle technologies, with significant experience in Oracle APEX development.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database development.
  • Experience designing and developing Oracle APEX applications, including interactive reports, interactive grids, forms, dashboards, dynamic actions, validations, processes, shared components, and application security.
  • Strong experience with Oracle database design, data modeling, stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, views, and query optimization.
  • Experience integrating Oracle APEX applications with Oracle Fusion and external systems using REST APIs, web services, ORDS, and other integration technologies.
  • Knowledge and experience of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is an advantage.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion applications and knowledge of Oracle modules including HCM, Project Accounting, Inventory, Supply Chain, Projects, Revenue Management, AR, AP, and GL.
  • Experience developing enterprise applications that support complex business processes and workflows.
  • Experience with application development lifecycle practices, source control, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and RESTful services.
  • Experience with application security concepts, authentication, authorization, role-based access, and secure development practices.
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-project environment and support multiple internal customers and departments.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, functional analysts, developers, database administrators, and other technical teams.

The salary range for this role is:
$100,500 - $153,250
