Job description

Human Touch Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our home healthcare team. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Your primary role will be to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitor their health status, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

Must have a current Colorado State CNA License.
Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care Assistance: bathing, eating, dressing, hygiene, mobility, exercise
  • Household Care: housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, dietary aide
  • Companionship: conversation, reminders.
  • Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
  • Help patients with walking, transferring, and physical exercises as prescribed.
  • Assist with medication reminders and adherence as per the care plan.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and changing bed linens.
  • Engage patients in conversation and provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in health status to healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and observations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Follow infection control procedures and ensure a safe environment for patients.

Qualifications:
  • Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Previous experience in home healthcare or a related field preferred.
  • Compassion, empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients safely, as required.
  • Dependable and punctual with a commitment to patient care.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: PRN
Pay: $20.00-22.00 Per Hour
Experience in Home health: 1 year (Preferred)
