Summary of the Job:

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing assigned client facing and internal technology projects within FNTS. This role helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within agreed scope, and aligned with customer, technical, operational, and organizational expectations.
This role will be responsible for an assigned project workload and defined workstreams. They will coordinate cross functional teams, maintain project plans and documentation, communicate status and risks, escalate scope, timeline, resource, or delivery constraints as needed.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, customer focused, and comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in an IT services, managed services, cloud, infrastructure, or technology delivery environment.

About This Role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned technical projects from initiation through completion. Including kickoff, planning, execution, monitoring, closeout, and transition to steady state support.
  • Coordination of project schedules, tasks, milestones, dependencies, owners, and deliverables to maintain project momentum and visibility.
  • Partner with internal teams including Service Account Managers, Sales, Solution Architects, engineering, operations, finance, and support teams to align project scope, timelines, expectations, and handoffs.
  • Facilitate internal and client facing project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting meeting notes, capturing decisions, tracking action items, and driving follow-up through completion.
  • Develop, maintain, and update project plans, timelines, status reports, risk/issue logs, meeting notes, project documentation, and closeout materials.
  • Communicate project status, upcoming activities, risks, issues, blockers, and timeline impacts clearly and proactively to stakeholders.
  • Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; escalate concerns appropriately when scope, schedule, resources, budget, or customer commitments may be impacted.
  • Assist with review and alignment of project inputs such as statements of work, design documents, project requirements, timelines, and customer expectations.
  • Coordinate technical resources and project stakeholders to support implementation, migration, disaster recovery testing, service changes, customer onboarding, and other technology delivery initiatives.
  • Support project turnover activities, including internal handoff, client handoff, lessons learned, project documentation archive, and confirmation that required closeout tasks are complete.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, technical project delivery, client delivery, IT service delivery, infrastructure, cloud, or a related technology environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, tasks, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up consistently, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical updates into clear, business friendly language for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams to coordinate work, resolve blockers, and support delivery outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, change control, status reporting, and closeout practices.
  • Familiarity with IT services, managed services, cloud, infrastructure, data center, disaster recovery, security, networking, service operations, or technology-driven projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, and related collaboration or documentation platforms.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, technical teams, service teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of accountability, professionalism, and follow-through.
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $89,828.00-$148,215.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.


Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
