Quick Facts Location: Boston, MA Start Date: 11/09/2026 End Date: 02/08/2027 Shift: 3x 13-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM Hours/Week: 39 hours Employment Type: Full-time (considering a minimum of 2 weeks per month) License/Certifications: MA State License, Board Certification in Neurosurgery (required) Experience: 1 year minimum neurosurgery experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $129.98 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Support from a dedicated team committed to your success What You’ll Do Collaborate with residents to plan patient care during rounds Review patient cases and determine necessary treatments and orders Conduct patient assessments and manage discharge processes Remove drains (Hemovac/Jp drains) when needed Participate exclusively in patient care (no OR involvement) Review and coordinate inpatient neurosurgery procedures and consultations Document and update patient records using Epic EMR system What You Need Required: Board Certification in Neurosurgery Massachusetts State License Minimum 1 year neurosurgery experience Ability to perform drain removal (preferred) Preferred: Strong patient care skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment About the Assignment This position is based at a hospital in Boston, MA, providing inpatient neurosurgical care for pediatric patients. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient outcomes, including rounding with residents, reviewing patient needs, and managing discharge planning. This assignment offers a balanced schedule with no night or holiday shifts, supporting work-life balance.
