Position Summary

The CNC Machining Intern will assist the manufacturing team in supporting CNC machining operations while gaining hands-on experience in a production environment. This internship provides exposure to CNC machine setup, operation, quality inspection, blueprint reading, and continuous improvement initiatives. The intern will work under the supervision of experienced machinists and manufacturing professionals to develop technical and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist CNC operators and machinists with machine setup and operation.
  • Load and unload materials, parts, and tooling as required.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning activities.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Record production, inspection, and process data accurately.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and process improvement projects.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company safety standards.
  • Assist with tool organization, inventory management, and workstation preparation.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:QualificationsRequired
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a vocational, technical, associate, or bachelor's degree program in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, CNC Machining, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and machining concepts.
  • Ability to read basic technical drawings and specifications.
