Job description

Scrum Master
We are looking for a driven and passionate Scrum Master to champion agile methodologies and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You will work closely with engineering, product, design, and delivery teams to facilitate agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure alignment around sprint goals and priorities. Your efforts will directly impact the way we deliver value to our customers and enable high-performing teams to thrive.
Day-to-Day
• Be an empowering leader and enable your teams to be highly functioning, self-organizing, and continuously improving
• Facilitate key agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and other stakeholders to define sprint goals, refine backlogs, and deliver on roadmaps
• Identify and remove blockers or obstacles that impact team productivity and delivery
• Oversee and manage program releases and implementations
• Foster transparency and collaboration across teams and stakeholders
• Support agile adoption and coach team members on Scrum practices and principles
• Track and report team progress through agile metrics and tools, and use data to drive continuous improvement
• Create a safe and inclusive team environment, encouraging experimentation, innovation, and open feedback
• Serves as a steward of team culture, environment, and engineering practices
• Comfortable to both encourage and challenge others to align behaviours towards our mindset
• Influence, question, and evaluate processes to determine opportunities for effectiveness
• Support release planning and coordinate with other Scrum Masters for cross-team initiatives
• Advocate for quality and predictability by encouraging test automation, definition of done compliance, and technical excellence
• Ability to come to office at least 3 days a week

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent agile certification is an asset

• Intermediate to advanced level of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum and Kanban
• Strong facilitation skills with a proven ability to lead productive team ceremonies and retrospectives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence without authority
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and design
• Proficiency in agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
• Comfortable with continuously changing environments (examples: business priorities, new technologies)
• Exhibit a high degree of understanding risk management
• Leverage and understand th e use of analytics to enable day-to-day conversations and decision making
Salary Range- $90,000-$100,000 a year
