  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, managing, and maintaining our Linux-based private cloud infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on creating automation, deployment, and monitoring scripts to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. This role requires expertise in Linux systems, cloud technologies, and scripting to ensure the smooth functioning of our private cloud environment.
  • A candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Basic Skills

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Senior SME Level with 10-12 years of experience required
  • Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator with a focus on Linux-based systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu) and cloud technologies (e.g., OpenStack, Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl for automation and monitoring purposes.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with commercial backup storage systems.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, virtualization technologies, and storage solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Experience in supporting Telecom IT systems is a plus.
