Job Title: Cloud and Infrastructure Systems Administrator - Linux admin Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None Anticipated Posting End: 8/24/2026 The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux admin to work with our dynamic team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud environments, an understanding of cloud services, and a strong Linux command line understanding. Looking for candidates with some variety of the skills listed below. Responsibilities:
Workstation and Server support: * Local Linux Desktop support
* Support local and remote "Cloud-in-a-box" infrastructure (Nutanix)
* Comfortable with hardware deployments and troubleshooting
Cloud Infrastructure Management: * Manage and Maintain cloud-based resources (AWS)
* IPA
* Puppet
* Documentation
Network support: * Support troubleshooting efforts for our cloud base network infrastructure
* Support/troubleshoot local network issues Qualifications: Required: * Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or CISSP) - must have or willing to get within 1-2 months of starting.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* +/- 7 years of experience in server/desktop Linux system administration and network troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies
* Willingness to learn new technologies Desired * Knowledge of Puppet, IPA, and Kubernetes
* Experience or understanding of "Cloud-in-a-Box" Solutions
